The dissolving process. This is the part of my practice that I enjoy the most. I get to see my stitched drawing come to life as the base fabric instantly dissolves in water. Here is a little video of me dissolving the curled gum leaf I shared a few weeks ago. It was a shot in my old studio, which I miss because it had the best light. I hope this video gives you a little insight into this part of the process and also shows you that these drawing are pretty tough, no need to be gentle with them. |
