5 ways to help our kids blend sounds to make words: ⭐️ Before starting this, kids must know a few sounds (ie: s,a,t,p,i,n) Here’s 5 ways to help kids blend sounds together to make words: 1️⃣ Take 2 sounds (i-t) and blenddd them together. “iiiiit”. Hold that first sound and blend it with the next. Have the child repeat it and then say the word “it”. 2️⃣ Say a word, count the number of sounds: “c-a-t” - 3 sounds! 3️⃣ Say a word and as your child to just say the beginning sound: “banana” - “B” 4️⃣
