Every 28th of December the town of Ibi in Alicante, Valencia celebrate a particular festival. A group of men known symbolically as “Els Enfarinats”, or "the floured ones", take control of the town. Dressed in old military-style clothes, they stage a mock coup d’état and impose absurd laws on the population. Anyone who breaks these rules must pay a fine, which is collected for charity.
