Jewels has been an NYCB favorite since it first premiered in 1967. In this throwback video, courtesy of the Jerome Robbins Dance Division, The New York Public Library, former Principal Dancers Kyra Nichols and Lindsay Fischer perform the emotional pas de deux in Diamonds during the 1993 performance of the ballet, which was part of a performance honoring Balanchine a decade after his passing.
