The increase in buses operated by the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has contributed to the 1.3 per cent growth in the country’s transport and storage sector. Director General of the Planning Institute of Jamaica, Dr. Wayne Henry said the increase in the land-transport component, particularly the number of JUTC buses dispatched, augured well for the sector. JUTC Buses Now Serving St. Thomas! 🚌🇯🇲 History was made in St. Thomas yesterday (December 2) as the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) launched its first-ever service in the parish. Two buses, the 701 and 702, are now running daily routes from Yallahs Bay and Morant Bay to North Parade, downtown Kingston.
