Spain has announced a nationwide public transport pass costing €60 a month (or €30 if you’re under 26), expected to launch mid–late January 2026. This is a state-level pass, covering Cercanías and Rodalies commuter trains, Renfe Media Distancia regional trains, and state-run intercity buses - meaning flat-fee travel between cities and regions on national networks. What it does not include (for now) are AVE high-speed trains or most metros, trams, and city buses, which are controlled locally. So
